Q-par Angus Ltd is an independent private limited company, principally a research and development organisation with a strong manufacturing capability. Established over 30 years ago, Q-par Angus Ltd has accumulated unparalleled experience in the field of design, development and manufacture of radio frequency and microwave systems across the frequency spectrum from decimetre to sub-millimetre wavelengths.
Q-par Angus Ltd has an established reputation for the quality of its products and for its innovative approach to problem solving. Its business is based primarily on the supply of custom-designed EW, surveillance and other military systems for the MoD, and Government Agencies and Prime Contractors.
The range of products include antenna positioners and many types of broadband antennas, including sinuous & spiral, horn, log periodic, and high power reflector antennas. We also are happy to design special components, for use in communication systems, surveillance, radar and electronic warfare, as well as in many industrial and medical applications. Using in-house engineering capability Q-par Angus Ltd designs microwave solutions to meet the specification of customers, and develops these through to manufacture, test, installation and commissioning.
Q-par Angus Ltd also offers consultancy services, supplying analysis and research. Facilities include a microwave measurements laboratory and antenna range, supported by a well-equipped precision machine shop, electronics laboratory and leading edge design facilities. The Company uses in-house written software for electromagnetic design of antennas, radomes, and Frequency Selective Surfaces, as well as commercial mathematical modelling packages, CST Electromagnetic Simulator, and Solidworks CAD.
It is our philosophy to work closely with customers; we anticipate that there will be free flow of information between Q-par and its Customer throughout the contract.
