Southern Testing are Specialist Ground Investigation and Geo-Environmental Consultants, founded in 1967.
We carry out Environmental Impact Assessments, Desk Studies, Site Investigations, Geotechnical Testing, Contaminated Land Studies, Risk Assessments, Remediation Design and Remediation Validation. We also specialise in Testing for Soakaways and the installation of Borehole Soakaways. The Company mainly works in South East England from the East Grinstead office and in the Midlands from the Northampton office (known as ST Consult). We have just over 60 employees and 30 Professional Staff comprising 2 Specialists in Land Condition (SiLC's), Chartered Engineers, Chartered Geologists, Environmental Scientists, and Technicians. We are Members of The Association of Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Specialists, the Association of Consulting Engineers, have a BSI registered Quality Assurance scheme (ISO 9001:2000), and are Members of the Environment Industries Commission.
